

This results in her being resistant to do her part or "meet them halfway", such as even going so far to push a button for assistance as she's convinced that "the button won't do anything". that coincide with these issues and cause extreme distrust in the care staff. Usually there's additional events, such as illness, a health issue, a fall etc. We've gotten her in the best place possible, but even then there are occasional issues that we have which majorly set her back. My dad and I have been there on a daily basis to ensure she doesn't feel abandoned, but that only does so much because eventually we have to leave.


She has had to since move into assisted living which is her worst nightmare. Shes always had depression and OCD (undiagnosed), but she had a stroke last year and lost movement in the right side of her leg. I tried to provide all of the necessary info. This is very rambly because I'm incredibly overwhelmed by the situation.
